Kieran Tracey

The Game’s Afoot marks Kieran’s debut with Warragul Theatre Company and his return to the stage after seven years, having last appeared in 1812 and REDFOX3’s ‘Constellations’ (2018). Kieran has performed widely across Melbourne, with favourite credits including ‘The Woman in Black’ (REDFOX3/The Basin Theatre Company), Proof (Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre), The ‘Importance of Being Earnest’ (Mordialloc Theatre Company), and ‘Red’ (Brighton Theatre Company). Other appearances include ‘One for the Pot’ (Beaumaris), among many others.

Matthew Vale

Matthew has been a member of the Warragul Theatre Company since 2021, when he was cast in the production of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. Since then, he has appeared in the WTC productions ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Charley's Aunt’, ‘Noises Off’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’, as well as Latrobe Theatre Company's ‘Shrek: The Musical’. Matthew is now looking forward to showcasing all the drama and excitement of The Game's Afoot.

Taylah Bordonaro

Taylah is thrilled to be working with WTC again, after most recently appearing in ‘Noises Off’ (2024) and ‘Charley’s Aunt’ (2023). Her other recent credits include Off The Leash Theatre’s productions of ‘The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later’ (2023) and ‘Cosi’ (2022). Taylah holds a Bachelor of Acting and has been involved with many theatre companies throughout Victoria. As a lover of murder mysteries, this show felt like a natural fit for Taylah. She is excited to be working with some new actors from the region, and many familiar faces again.

Christine Skicko

Christine has performed with most of the local companies in many roles, including Anna in the ‘King and I’, Dolly Levi in ‘Hello Dolly’, Phyllis Stone in ‘Follies’ and Jack’s Mother in ‘Into the Woods’, the title role in ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ (for which she earned the Best Actress in a Comedy Award with the Victorian Drama League).

Christine has also been the Judge’s Coordinator for the Gippsland Associated Theatre Awards for over 30 years.

Simon Bright

Michael Barron

Michael has been involved with WTC for five years continuously performing in every musical since his debut show, Wicked in 2021 which was a major pivot into his ambition to strive for bigger opportunities. At the age of 21, Michael was presented a valuable opportunity to perform the role of Javert in WTC’s 2022 production of ‘Les Miserables’, receiving a guild commendation. Following up, he played the role Emmett Forest in ‘Legally Blonde’ (2024). He has also appeared in ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ (2023) and ‘The Wedding Singer’.

Aggie Wheeler

Leisel Burrow

Leisel’s most recent (and proudest) role was Alice Murphy in ‘Bright Star’ (2024) with Wonthaggi Theatrical Group, which solidified her desire to perform regionally and professionally. This is Leisel’s first appearance in a WTC production, though she’s also worked (on and off stage) with Wonthaggi Theatrical Group (‘Bright Star’/ ‘The Addams Family’) Leongatha Lyric Theatre (‘Into the Woods’, ‘The Producers’, ‘After The Party’, ‘Something To Make You Laugh’) and FAMDA.

Martha Gillette

Deb Welch

This is Deb’s fifth production with WTC having appeared most recently as Dotty/Mrs Clackett in ‘Noises Off’ in 2024 and Lady Bracknell in ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ in 2022. Deb was also involved in both plays and musical theatre in South Gippsland, and in Geelong over more years than she cares to admit. Deb is a big fan of murder mysteries.

Daria Chase

Rhiannon Stephens

Rhiannon is an accomplished performer with over two decades of experience in both professional and “for the love” theatre. She recently performed in ‘The 39 Steps’. Earlier performances include Brooke Ashton in ‘Noises Off’, and multiple roles in ‘Baskerville - A Sherlock Holmes Mystery’, each showcasing her sharp timing and versatility in farce.
